My profession is a freelance illustrator and designer. On Oct 12 at 1:10AM I received an email from Nice Folay ([email protected]). He claims he is in need of a logo for his soon to open small business. I ask him for more details about the project but his inquiry seems strange. The strangest part was how he needs to pay upfront with a check because his email keeps getting hacked. And the time he would need the logo to be done (2-3 weeks) is about the time it takes to discover is a check is fraudulent. The amount he is willing to pay for is just under $900. He also seems to be in a rush for me to cash the check. Here is the email he sends me:

Thank you for your quick response, Am established Auto Center soon and I need a very good logo to be create with this new business name which is (NICE AUTO CENTER) Let me know how much you charge for logo. i have example of what i want you to do, But the example doesn't have my own business name, I believe with that example the job will be more easier and faster for you to know what to do on time. We're going to opened beside (Precision Tune Auto Care) Soon.
