I JUST RECEIVED TWO CHECKS IN THE MAIL I WAS CONFUSED LUCKY I SEARCHED BEFORE I DEPOSITED

Received two checks with a long letter with full detail about being a secret shopper for Walmart. I knew it was a scam since Walmart doesn't provide these type of services through any company. Please be careful with people like this that try to take your money.

I just recently received this letter as of today July 29 and I was sceptical but my guts telling me not to do it. Very confusing, I just ask my daughter for some help. She told me,it's a scam, don't believe in it. This was my first time recieving this letter.
This is really unbelievably unexpected and unacceptable. I'm become a victim here of a scam twice. So unbelievable...

They contacted my dad saying he would get paid to be a secret shopper at Walmart…sent a fake check of $1950…which we recognized thankfully….they sent a letter telling him to deposit them go by gift cards and such and scan the numbers in. It’s a scam on people especially targeting older adults

I got a letter and a check yesterday im sappost to deposit it and follow all these instructions .they must think people are stupid .there isnt a bank around that would cash a check .SCAM.SCAM.SCAM.this is not my first one i have recieved 5 or 6 of these in the last year. At first i realy thought they were real .but it sounded to easy then i googled it and yup it was to easy .its a rotten scam.goes to show people wont stop at nothing tomake a dallar

I was asked to hurry and deposit this check and letter into my personal bank account I did not do so because I was skeptical from the get-go of getting the smell when I tried to call I got text responses back they were saying that they had a text only phone number. They then told me if I had any questions to text so I asked them about it being a scam they say they have been in business for 33 years their company has integrity and it shows on the analysis of their reports. Yet when I asked for some way to verify that information they have not responded to me in a day or two or asked what I have done with the chick I still have the check I will post pictures.

I was contacted by phone for a Mystery Shopper position stating I would receive a letter of instruction along with a check to deposit at my bank. I received a priority mail envelope on Monday May 10, 2021 with a letter of instruction and a check for $2,950.00. I looked up the address on package which was Public Employees Credit 412 Hungnam Court in Oceanside, Ca which was a fake business and a made up address. I also tried to google the Human Resource Specialist @ Nike Consult that signed the letter, Grace Moore. The person and the company are of course fake. The letter of instruction was to deposit check, get a money order from my bank for $45 and made out to American Cancer Society then go to 2 Wal Marts and purchase 2 $500 gift cards at each Wal Mart. Once that is done they want you to scratch off back to reveal the card numbers and send in pics to (732) 784-4690
