Received a call today from phone number 443-335-9720 stating a claim has been filed against someone I know. I went along with the call to see what this was about she got a gentleman on the phone. I asked him what the case numbed was he said VT2-21038. I proceeded to ask him for his name he starts in with his spew about the case. I asked again for his name and refused to verify any information without him answering my questions. He hung up. Curiosity got me I called back. This time Jose Martinez(very common name) answered same spew. I asked him what the name of his company was he say NLI. What does NLI stand for I asked he said it doesn't stand for anything. I asked where are you located he says they are nationwide. So I asked again where is your corporate office located he hung up. Definitely scammers

My parents received a phone call for me (I haven't lived there in over 30 years) and they just said they were NLI and gave a case number. They said a claim had been filed against me and that I needed to return the call. I called the number (no information was given by the person who answered like who the company was supposedly) and he said he couldn't find anything with the number they gave me and even gave me a different name that was associated with the case number I gave him. Definitely a scam!

This caller called from 1-830-218-0386 stating someone has filed a complaint against you and will and has a summons for me. She would not give the person, place or, thing info because she said she do not have the information on the person or company that filed the complaint. Then asked her for her location and company she works for; she said the company is NLI. We asked her what does NLI stand for? Then she hung up.

Yeah they called me and they said someone filed a complaint against me out of here I blocked their number I believe it when the courts and the cops come against me let's see if the cops come and get me scammers , I smell something sounds fishy something doesn't sound right with this company

Person called asking for me and stated they had legal documents but could not give me any information on who the company was or disclose nature of call untill I provided my social security number. When I asked for their own name ae reference for call and asked for information about the company they were calling from, person calling became increasingly rude and demanding on providing my personal information and told me to call back when I was ready to identify myself. I hung up and they then called my brother who does not live in the same city and asked if he could provide information to verify my identity.

This company called my husband, claiming that Bank of America is suing him for an unpaid overdraft fee 12 years ago. They requested his social security number to verify his identity and said that they were suing him and that he must appear based on a summons he would supposedly be receiving.
