Scam job offer

I’ve just recently received an email and gone through short interview process bus Signal. The names used were names easily found to be related to a Netherlands company. The pay was impressive and paid training was included. Even more interesting is that they used a company logo and letterhead fir the employment offer. Thus also included a name of someone affiliated with this company. I honestly do not know who this is however they have gone to great lengths to get people to believe their offer is real. If I have been mistaken I would be surprised.

Nn group scam

I applied online via indeed. They interviewed me with 5-6 questions on zoom via chat. I got the job. Then they emailed me trainings. Day one was a task to write a 2.5 page essay. Day two was another just of the same but different topic.

I did give out my name and address. I received a check via fed ex with legit tracking that I followed. They knew exactly when it was delivered. I opened it and it’s for an a seed amount to buy office supplies. 4,950.00. They told me to deposit it and take a snap shot of the deposit slip. I even searched the name and address of the bank the check was written from and it’s valid. And that is when I searched them online and found this page.

NN Group imposters

contacted via email saying they are a big insurance/financing company that is a legit company when you look them up, then send you emails. They did the interview via chat? on this special app they make you download called Signal and then send you weird tasks. Like writing a 2.5 page report and this is your "training" but they haven't even started any kind of hiring paperwork and say they are going to send you a check to purchase all of the working equipment. This is disgusting that they are preying on people that are desperate for work and then scamming them into a fake job.

Will it started as email claiming they saw my resume thought I would be good fit. Now there in neverthlands. And when it came to the interview through the signal app with a so called point system and they do interviews at 11:00 at night . And the training is done in same app with weird tasks. 35.00 hour

So u see they claim they will send me check for equipment and the weird thing they wanted be to do cards with barcodes and in the job description it’s says to update account information. They haven’t even did taxes or required forms so big red flags.
