I got a text message yesterday claiming to be someone from the company saying my resume was approved for an interview with the hiring manager (Mrs. Murray Arturo). I was instructed to download the app: Signal and speak with her to schedule an interview. I thought it was weird but I did it. By the end the "person" revealed that the conversation we had was the interview. The tone was robotic and felt too good of a off to be true looking, back on it. The scammer has my name and banking institution. I don't know if they've gotten my specific banking information yet or not. I also have screenshots of all the text/direct message correspondence. Here is a copy and paste version of the initial text: Hello. My name is Liz Abel from Bert Williams , Your resume was reviewed via Indeed/ Zip and has been approved for an interview. The pay is $26.00 per hour. If you are still interested, The interview will be conducted via Signal, a messaging platform that can be downloaded from your Google Play/App Store, Please add our Hiring Manager, Mrs Murray to schedule an interview with her via Signal. Her SIGNAL ID is ( +1 943-333-7102 ), Please disregard if you already got the text yesterday.
