Sara Morales was the name used when I was texted. She insisted their first step in the hiring process was a credit and background check even before the initial interview for a customer representative role. This is definitely a hiring scam

39.93 was taken from my bank account from a company called Power Zone Electrical 5732. I have never done business with this company, never heard of them before. The 866 number they list, next to the charge is not a working number. I did a little research and found they do have a South Africa number. I’m trying to get my money back. The only review they have is the same thing that happened to me. This is not a legitimate business.

A recording saying my credit card will have theses charges posted. If yes to proceed with these charges press 1 if not press 2. I pressed 2. They said I have charges of 400 + dollars and 1600 + dollars from my credit card trying to go through. I don't have a credit card so he wanted to verify my name etc. I said NO you called me you tell me what bank these charges are through. He said no I have to verify identity first. I said NO again and he said we will proceed with the charges on my bank card!. I tried calling the number back and just got a busy signal!

No company name given , the person said his name is Eric, but clearly has an accent of east indian, or pakistani.
