My grandfather received a cold call from an unidentified caller. The woman simply asked, “Is this [name]?”

When my grandfather responded “Yes” the caller hung up immediately.

This is a known scam targeting older callers.

Received a call from 248-997-4330 @ 11:56 am Feb 7, 2017. Male voice (robocall) stated he was calling from customer service and asked if i could hear him. I instinctively answered yes, then hung up. Called the number back and it prompted to press "9" to be removed from the survey callers list.
