Type of a scam Phishing
(To me) person. She mentioned Amazon. I don’t shop at Amazon and know NO ONE in New Mexico. The more she talked, the more I thought I was being scammed. She said I had to go to a Target or Wal-Mart and she would then tell me what to do next. We were later at a Circle K and she told me the exact address of that store on Grant Road. Obviously she was “tracking” me. She gave me an address of a Safeway on St. Mary’s Road and we drove there. She told me to go in and get four American Express cards; didn’t understand what she was doing. I DID NOT do it. Earlier she asked me how much money I had in my checking account. Way early in the conversation she told me one of my phone numbers was a lane-line we hadn’t had in several years. I told her my phone might “die” because it wasn’t fully charged. I gave her my wife’s number, which she already told me earlier. She even told me her name (phony?) was Megan Morris and her ID #IRM231276. She said an agent would come see me tomorrow 11-04-22 at 11:30. She picked the time. I think she wanted me to transfer money from TFCU (Tucson Federal CU) and then this phony agent would come by and get those cards. Amount she asked for was $500 times 4. She said she worked for the government and this call was being recorded. She also told me that she had to keep me on the line even tho we had to go to a Target, Wal-Mart or even a Safeway. We were many miles away from home. I hung up and she NEVER called us back on either phone number she had.
