Received a confirmation email from JOANN Fabrics and Crafts <[email protected]>. on May 23, 2024. When I clicked on the “View Your Order” button, I received a message that the order did not exist. There is NO website. I googled the email address and found out it was a scam.

I thought this was a Chico's store website. It said Chico's on it and advertised a sale going on so I shopped and charged to my credit card. Then saw email come through with [email protected]. Realized something was wrong so notified them and asked to cancel order. They have not and I have repeatedly emailed them at :[email protected]

I used a link from Facebook to what I thought was Wayfair. I know better but it looked so legitimate I fell for it anyway.

Original email and site used the official Hoka emblem for tennis shoes. Received a confirmation email after placing my order for a pr of shoes. Later, I was unable to contact the company thru website links in the order confirmation , and there were no responses to my email requests for tracking info- they also provided these emails. : [email protected] and [email protected]

I saw an ad on Instagram for a 'clearance sale' for Hoka sneakers. It had the appropriate logo and formatting when I went to the page. I should have known it was "too good to be true". I ordered two pairs of sneakers ($39.95 each with just over $9 discounts, so a total of $69.95). I received an email that looked legit with the order and my information. I didn't hear anything for a bit and emailed to check on the order and again heard nothing. Now I just feel stupid. It's listed on my credit card bill as THEODUO LEGGINS LLC in Broomfield CO.

Advertised Christmas Special Steak And Chicken Family Bundle. Gave a promotional discount with Free VIP Shipping. China post Carrier Sprinter. The tracking information is suspect showing delivered; with 2 different out for delivery dates.

Saw this ad on Facebook and ordered 3 pairs of shoes. Never received them. Contacted the contact info email and after 3 attempts finally heard back.... and got a lot of BS about courier delays, etc. The order was placed December 31, 2023 and never received it.

I can't find the original post, but it was a business closing and wanted to sell all remaining inventory fast. It was too good to be true but I am older and have some issues and I fell for it. They were selling Ammo of all kinds, numerous pages of ads. They gave me an order number and said I would be notified when it was shipped. I never was notified and I could not find where I ordered it from.

I searched online for a heater to give as a gift for Christmas. Googled electric wall heater several came up , noticed Deap BestBuy checked it out the site seemed legit BestBuy logo site with several other appliances on sale at discontinued prices . Paid for it with My wife’s BestBuy /visa card. Order number and receipt was sent to me confirming the transaction. Several days later get email saying it was shipped with a tracking number AM088809461cn pulled up on a site named Track17 . Tracked for twenty days and finally it said it was delivered. It was not delivered. All of the tracking showed all of its movements in china. Trued going back to site and to contact by phone and email . Site no longer exists ! Contacted BesyBuy to discuss charges and realized I was scammed. BestBuy is investigating the matter. Just out of curiosity today I searched for that heater again to see if it was available at Walmart so I could call to order, several sites advertised this heater At $129 to$149 but noticed one site again offering it at $59 checked it out another scam site set as BestBuy again wrote the name of down and left it

The site is Christ BestBuy.com go figure

I responded to an advertisement on Facebook selling discounted and discontinued Pendleton clothing products. I believe I was buying it from the Pendleton company. I went through their catalog, chose my items, and typed in my debit card and address. The items I bought were deeply discounted, even better than advertised. I received an acknowledgment of payment, but no indication of the delivery carrier nor a way to track my package. After a couple of weeks of waiting for my packaged, I realized I was scammed. I tried to contact their customer service, but it is unreachable: [email protected]
