This business hired me within a few hours of my application with no background check, ID verification, or any other form of identification. I applied at 6pm and was hired on the same day at 8pm with only having my first and last name, phone number, address, and work history. This company provides in home services to children grades K-12 and older. I am deeply uncomfortable with the fact i am being hired in to go into peoples homes and work with their children without any background check being done. This is a huge safety issue due to the fact anyone can apply and be accepted with little to no experience. Their website is very dodgy and feels like i am offering my tutoring services up on Craigslist. This company is allowing anyone to enter the homes of parents with the title of tutor without any information about the hired "tutor" themselves. I am very concerned about the lack of proper identification and rapid hiring on without any form of training or interview as this can allow people with criminal history against children to access children easily and with full parental trust. While looking through reviews, a few people have mentioned the clients are being charged an average of $70-100 an hour, whilst tutors hired by them are getting paid $13-20 for the tutoring itself. This overall feels incredibly scammy and unsafe for children.
