I received a call at 8:51 pm on a Friday night asking for a donation to the Norristown Fraternal Order of Police #31. I declined and hung up. I immediately called the Norristown police department asking if there is a fundraising drive going in for their FOP. The officer on duty said they weren't aware of any fundraiser, but even if there was one they would not be calling that late at night.
