I received a check in the mail for $5850. It had Wells Fargo on it. I am pretty sure it is a scam. The letter stated to call a phone number and they will send a courier to deliver a certified check for $350,000. Phone number 416-464-0732. Reference a pin number ***. I did not call the number. The mailing is from North West Lottery Inc. I assumed it is a fake check. I took it to the bank and was told it looked legitimate. I have heard of fake check scams. I wanted to report the mailing.
