This is a locksmith service. I called for a quote and described exactly what needed to be re-keyed. I asked for a quote and was advised $55. I explained I needed a firm quote and she said it may fluctuate a little depending on how tough it was. I advised her the other company I called said $65. She said it most likely would be $55 or around there. She couldn't "see it costing much more than that at all". When the locksmith around a half hour passed the scheduled time, he quoted us $165. That's a huge difference. I called the customer service line because that was an astronomical difference. I asked if there was any way to lower it and she got sassy. I told her we wouldn't not be using the service and I didn't think we should be held responsible for a $20 service call because the quote was such a drastic difference. The woman began to argue and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, she placed me on hold, an indefinite hold. I tried to call back and it the same agent. In still on hold after 20 minutes. This is terrible business practice and honestly is a scam. They quote you a great price and then more than double it when they think they have you in a tight spot.
