At that time, I called Seth and he had me talk to Chris who was obviously an obnoxious kid, but said he was the manager and the only person in charge. They yelled at me and were extremely rude to me. Then there was Jennifer who collected the money who at least was able to pretend to be a more level-headed individual. And then she referred me to “Michael” who apologized, but after the way I had been treated and spoken to, I expressed to Jennifer that I just wanted to either figure out a way to get all of my things moved at the rate I was quoted or get my things and move on. She said I would need to wait until Monday because it was the day before Christmas Eve. Made sense to me, but at the end of the day, “Michael” (with a middle eastern accent, this only matters because later a guy possibly “Nelson” with a Spanish accent said I had spoke to him so they were all pretending to be someone else) called and said I "needed to get my things now!" That his "company no longer wanted to do business with me" when I asked him about a resolution since they already had some of my things. I continuously asked why I was being spoken to and treated this way. It was 5pm, the day before Christmas Eve and now the 3rd man from this company was yelling at me because I was trying to get the service that was promised to me. It was crazy! I ended up going on Monday with the police to some lighting company at 522 Cortlandt Street in Belleville, NJ which is where the warehouse was where my things were stored. Yes, the actual address is a lighting company out front. Not a moving company at all. The police told me that they have complaints about this company all the time. I was told that many people end up not getting their things back from them and when I looked, sure enough, these places can auction off your things. So when the officer came, he stayed with me as I spoke to a 4th man. He made me pay additional money in cash to get my things back even though I had already paid them a deposit. He then, after the truck was loaded and the police left, he blocked the moving truck in with his car and made me sign a contract that the job was completed as ordered but it was not and I had to call the police back. I had already signed that I had gotten my items back but I did not want to sign the contract. I recorded him saying that I needed to sign that the service was completed as contracted and stated that it wasn’t. Save yourself the hassle and the trouble. They accused me of not wanting to pay after they canceled the contract and breached it and now I still have to pay. I paid over $1800 so far for this and I still have to arrange my move which I likely will be doing myself now after this experience. They definitely take advantage of people because time is generally of the essence when moving but that wasn’t the case for me, so I was able to stick it out a bit. This is a horrible company. I filed a complaint with the BBB, the federal agency (safer.fmcsa.dot.gov) and I’m filing with the NJ Dept of community affairs as well. Also, my review with pictures of these people, the size of my storage unit, what they removed for the $2400 that I was quoted and what was left that they wanted an additional $1500 for so you can see the size of the estimate. Also, the location is available on yelp and google. I got my things back, thank God for the police, my brothers, and my son. I just also hate that I feel taken advantage of as a woman too.

I quit the sales position after 4 weeks because customers were accusing Northern Elite Van Lines and Moving Relocation Systems LLC of being a broker and the work is unethical. They know that I know they are scammers, they have my personal information and they never paid my last week commission. I am a mother and that money was supposed to get my kid ready for school this year.
