Coy Glidewell to nortoncustomer567, bbc me. I called the number stating I did not order Norton and did not know why the email. The line was: my subscription ran out. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given a similar story. The only way to cancel the subscription was to go on a Norton LifeLock website. (I know what Norton looks like and the website looked legit. Then I had to complete a form for the cancelling the subscription. Trust me, I was arguing with the person and asked to speak to his supervisor. I was told he was. (I see all the red flags now, but at the time I was frustrated and and not thinking straight. Also, he stated there was other items to be cancelled and what I was told a computer program needed to do the cancellation. Basically, I ignorantly allowed that person onto my computer. Once I was told I needed to open my bank account. I pulled out. Both men spoke with an Indian accent. I was called back on 2 different numbers or which I did not answer. Why I am reporting this? BECAUSE THEY ARE USING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU on their bogus Norton LifeLock website as validation for their business. Lesson learned for me, I hope never again.
