I called the number on the email and said I wanted to cancel. The person on the other line helped me get to a Google Doc that asked for my personal information including full name, email, cell phone number, and bank name. The Google Doc had a logo for Better Business Bureau, Norton 360, and the Government of the United States to make it look credible.
When I told the caller, I didn't think this information was appropriate to be putting on this document, the caller said that it was fine to put the information down. It would help them find the account. And, the caller reassured me that they were only asking for my bank name not my account number.
I did not give this person my information. Instead, I reported them to Norton 360 and BBB.
