They emailed me a fake Norton360 invoice for $202. The number they told me to call claimed to be tech support. I did not call. The info was attached as '*********.pdf', with the email:

"Hello There,

We appreciate you selecting us for your subscription. We are grateful for your recent purchase, and this email serves as confirmation that your payment was received successfully. For your information, I've attached your payment receipt.************************************"

Received an email with an invoice attached that I had ordered a renewal subscription Norton Life Lock for a 1 year subscription for $549.99 and if I did not order it to call them within 12 hours. I called the number listed on the invoice and it sounded like a man from India and I told him I did not order this and he said he would need to get into my computer in order to remove it and I told him I do not have a computer and he said do you have an apple phone than go to your app store and open alldesk everywhere and I asked him if this was fraud and he said in order for me to help you, you need to follow my commands and I hung up on him.

I received an email with an attached invoice for $327.36 for Norton Antivirus that I had apparently ordered....except I DID NOT order this service. I contacted the company and was told "I had previous service on my computer". I stated at the present time I DO NOT OWN A COMPUTER and was told it would be cancelled. I was highly irritated. Since they had my email address I do not know what other personal information they have. Thank God my credit file is "frozen"; just because of things like this.

Received email with subject Billing. Stating that I was being charged $229.99 for automatic renewal of my NORTON computer security. I never authorized an auto renewal. To obtain a refund, there was a contrived method using easy desk remote to obtain financial info for bank and also PayPal.

They said I have made account and power them more for renewal for protection of my information

Email said Norton product that I had never purchased was up for renewal and my credit card would be charged.

Fake email address, email also addressed to "Prime Customer".

Fake 1-800 number to call.

Received email from 'Norton Virus Protection' stating a charge of $399 which would be automatically deducted from debit account. Email stated to call phone number if I believed this was not correct. After looking at senders email address - decided to escalate and determine if this was fraud attempt.

Man called me said that my Norton 350 was auto renewed for $350 on my lap top. I said ,I dont have norton and he said it runs in the background and cant be seen. when asked what account they charged he said he wouldnt transfer me to the billing department untill i had canceled which he could help me with if i would open my browser. I told him no im calling ScamPulse.com and find out if they are legit.

here is a copy of the email that I received. I thought it was real, they took me to the ScamPulse.com site and said that they would issue the refund.

They had me go and let them control my computer to get rid of my files of Norton. They they had me go to my bank and said that the ScamPulse.com would put the amount ($299.00) back in my checking from their website. Then they told me that I was to put an amount of $90.00 on this one screen and when I did it showed $9000.00 was typed in and I know I didn't type that much in. They said that I was stealing money off of them and there would be consequences for my actions. I had been scammed like this before and then the person on the other line said this is " ********" . Imagine a representative of a well known company talking like this. So I hung up and here I went to my bank account my savings had been almost deleted and transferred over to my checking account.
