This e-mail smelled "fishy" and I've never signed up with Norton, so initially it was upsetting to read "charged with $357.82" however, I didn't take that bait. I searched the phone number first and it came up SCAM and the Better Business Bureau already had this on their radar, thank goodness. Anyway, Here's the whole message as given to me via e-mail: "Norton Support3463467 [email protected] "We hope this email finds you well. We are writing to confirm the details of your recent order with reference number (805) 618-1088. The total amount charged for this transaction is $357.82. Thank you for choosing our services. Your order is now being processed, and you can expect to receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, please do not hesitate to contact us at (805) 618-1088. Our customer service team is available to assist you with any inquiries you may have. We strive to provide the best shopping experience for our customers, and we appreciate your business. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring that your order is processed efficiently and accurately. If you require any further assistance or information, please feel free to reach out to us at (805) 618-1088. Received an e-mail from "Norton Support" [email protected] regarding an Invoice from the Norton Support Team. It indicates a large sum of money is due and would be debited from our account due to a purchase. Invoice was attached for a Digital Product Norton 360 Premium and was an automatic renewal. If we wanted a refund to call the number. Upon calling the number, there other end wanted to access our computer and then wanted our bank information. Good thing my husband hung up but there is something install on our computer -- Lock My PC and Lock My PC Settings they installed. My husband shut down the computer and we changed passwords immediately. We also lost all our shortcuts set up on the computer.
