Norton total protection Reports & Reviews (3)

I got an email on February 1, 2022 around 8:30am. It stated that I will be charged $214.17 if I don’t call within 24-48 hours. I called and they told me I need to go on the computer to cancel. I told them I didn’t have one so they asked me to do it from my phone. I told them I’m calling from my landline then he told me I needs to download a app. Right there I knew something was suspicious. I shouldn’t have to download an app to cancel the subscription. I then ask when did I get it and what is the last 4 digits of the card I used. He told me that he couldn’t give me that info over the phone. I told him why not cause it’s my info and I needs to know when I got this subscription. I also told him if I’m charged anything I will dispute it with my bank. He then hung up the phone… so now I’m reporting them to you all.

This company claims to provide computer protection through "Norton Total Protection" using a trusted antivirus protection company name. They email you a fake invoice and to get a "refund" they ask you to call a number- when you get a representative, they ask you a bit too eagerly if you want a refund to get your CC#

They send me weekly emails stating my subscription has been renewed and my account will be charged with 24-48 hours, always with different amounts of charges. If you call they hang up on you.
