I never applied to work at Nova Business Center or any sales position. I have been applying for jobs, but I kept track as to where I applied, and this was not one of them. I was extremely confused, as at first I assumed that I simply forgot about an application.
However, they later called me three time from two different numbers, leaving me a voicemail asking when was a good time for me to interview. This was all in the span of two hours. I responded to the text, after they sent another follow up text, asking for a job description for the role I allegedly applied for, as well as the name of site I applied on. They refused to send any information. I pressed more, but I continued to be met with them asking me to call them.
I say "them" because I had two numbers and two people trying to get me to go to this meeting: Sam, alleged HR manager, and Amy, alleged HR assistant.
I called Amy after multiple back and forth exchanges over text, and she told me that I applied for a sales position on Indeed.com. I never did, and it was very obvious I didn't because you can view all of your applications on Indeed. The phone call was very unprofessional on her part and she continuously asked me when a good time for me to interview was. Again, I never applied for this position.
I was also never give last names or emails of the hiring managers, nor was I able to find them in LinkedIn. I am extremely worried as I was being lured out to their offices, which after a quick google search do not exist. I am not sure what type of scam they were trying to pull, yet I am extremely uncomfortable with my personal information being leaked. They pressed very hard for me to come to their office in person.
