A man by the name he gave me was Anthony Perez,contacted me my phone saying that he works for NPS. He said his call was a courtesy call as he was getting ready to serve me documents on a civil complaint that had been filed against me. He said he was going to be serving me but this was only a courtesy to me that he would be giving me a heads up. He said that in my best interest it would be better to call the attorney's office that is handling the civil complaint filed against me. He then gave me their name and phone number and a reference number. I called this phone number their business name they said was crg and associates attorneys. I spoke with a woman initially and she informed me that crg and associates attorneys or handling the civil complaint filed against me by US Bank from a checking account that have gone bad of mine in 2005. Which obviously I questioned with it being 19 years old. I also had no recollection of this ever happening. She informed me that it did happen and that the statute of limitations on checking accounts is virtually zero so that is why they can still come after me at this point. She offered me to either pay them $961.29 that day or $238.11 over 6 months or $119 over 12 months. She put me on hold and said that she would have to go in the other room and ask the attorneys if those offers were still valid if they would still allow me to do that. She put me on hold when she came back they said that they attorneys agreed. She said that the 961 and 29 cents would only be a valid payoff amount until the end of the current month after that she couldn't make any promises. She then emailed me documents to sign and fill in my debit card information to make the payment with. This woman who was the initial person I spoke with also at the end of the call gave me an employee's name of Megan that I would be contacting again if I needed any information from them with a different phone number and a different area code. The initial number that I called was 844-268-8440 and they never given to me to contact further was 951-326-8487.I hung up the phone in a year so investigating. I saw on your website someone else had almost The identical scam happened to them. I am thankful for your service in this. I am want to check on anything like this so having your service is helpful thank you

This Happened to me with a call yesterday and voice mail. Account is 17yrs old. So I called the number they left on VM 844-268 8440 and to routed to a guy who said hello not even stating the business name. He put me on hold for 5 minutes saying he has to pull up my court documents. Then my call was switched over to the most ultimate rudest lady. When she said my name and this supposed Providian card I had I said are you sure you have the right person? So she said my last 4 of my social. So I asked questions she got mad and told me ,yea me that I need to listen! haha..ok so she says I'm being sued from this credit card from 2006 I was like ok I highly doubt that. She was aggressive and said papers are being served. I said OK. Doing research I called back and said what is your company's name? She goes is this you stating my name. How in the heck would she remember that if she is with a lot of clients. She hesitant to give it to me. Then says it so fast I said can you repeat that? She was mad I said it's what CRG Associates? Then she said something rude and I said oh honey send those papers you definitely will be talking to my attorney. For Harassment. She said what you called me haha I said yes for your information and your voice and all your voice messages this will go to court. No way this is definitely Harassment from them and who in there right mind would tell that their getting served with court documents on voicemail. Im so glad I found your post thank you😁
