applied for a student loan forgiveness plan paid $*** a 3 time payment plan for the initial loan processing fee. Under the belief they would help with student loan debts. they did not help, once payment was received all contact with this organization was lost as they do not reply. Do not use this.

This company is pretending to be associated with AFSLR Association for Student Loan Relief. I contacted AFSLR and they told me this company has been pretending to be associated with them for quite some time, using their logo on their site and email. This company has been told and warned but is still taking money for a processing fee, which to my knowledge is illegal in providing help to students in the William Ford, or most commonly known Obama loan forgiveness program. I was told the fee is $*** for a one time payment or 3 payments of $***. In which I opted for the 3 payments. I cut my debit card off and reported fraud with my bank. This company now knows my information.

I am wanting to know if this organization is a scam or not. They are asking for an upfront fee in order to help me minimize my student loans. I was ready to move forward with them but thought I should check them out first. Can anyone please let me know if they are legitimate or not
