Do not be fooled by this website that is playing off to be the official Nuna baby stroller and carseat company. This site had an ad online for 80+% off items which was too good to be true. They advertised a “24 hour sale” so I jumped on the opportunity to purchase a carseat that is usually $500 for $90. I paid via paypal just in case and did not receive any invoice or communication that it was being processed or fulfilled. I only received an email from paypal that the payment went through. I immediately tried to contact the seller via their contact us form and a random email on one of their FAQ answers about shipping. Shocker, gmail notified me that the email does not exist. Just in case, I gave it a few more business days and additional pings on their contact us form. Nothing. I submitted a dispute with PayPal and they reached out to the seller. Seller replied to PayPal with a tracking number which I never received from the seller. The item said “delivered”, so I went to my PO Box and nothing was there. USPS tracked down the information regarding the item they claimed to have delivered and it was not even sent to my PO Box but a random residential address in my city. The shocking thing is the “carseat” was actually an 8oz envelope that was delivered. Clearly a scam to just get a tracking number to give to PayPal saying it was delivered. I submitted a claim to Google because I found the site via an ad on their search results. The shocking thing is when I went back to find the ad, there were other ads right below this site with different names (www.newcarseatsale.com and https://www.nuna-carseat.store/) but they all redirect to the same site! I also watched their “24 hour sale” reset everyday! Google has taken the ads down but the sites are still active. I am hoping the official Nuna company gets a hold of this scammer. I hope the scammers do not take any more money from parents and families who are looking for a carseat or stroller. It would be scary if they are sending fake items that are not safe for children.
