I spoke with NV SOS and they are aware of this company that sends out a letter to all new businesses telling them they have to get a Certificate of Good Standing with them for $112.75. You assume this is coming from the state of NV because it concerns your new business license but it is not. They don't issue anything affiliated with the state because they are not the state. NV SOS told me they are sorry I did that with that company and she said she hopes I can get my money back. Per the state of NV, I did not need a certificate of good standing unless I wanted one. Fortunetely, my bank placed a stop payment on it, but I was duped and this is not right.
