NVIDIA Employment - Data Entry Reports & Reviews (1)

- Tyler, TX, USA

I received a text a few weeks ago, around June 12th of this year, from someone named Anita Rexinger saying that my resume was reviewed and that I was qualified for the administrative assistant/ data entry position. I was told to respond if I wanted to schedule an interview. I responded and I was told to contact the hiring manager, Helen Alin, on an app called telegram. I contacted Helen and she told me that it was a remote position and we did an interview through Telegram and she told me that I would be perfect for the position. She then proceeded to ask for a bank account to set up direct deposit and then I was told that in order to start training, I would need to purchase specific softwares. I told her that I couldn't afford the softwares which was $200 a piece. She asked me if I had a credit card and when I told her yes, she asked about the limit. I told her that I was almost close to my limit and she offered to pay off my credit card, which she did. She said she needed to talk to some people in the payroll/ finance department and I was able to get the credit card paid off. In order to get the software, she said that I needed an apple gift card and that I was to buy it on my credit card. I did and sent the link to her because it was a virtual gift card. She said that she would need to buy another software and that she would get the company to pay off my credit card again so that I could buy the second software and when I got the second software, I could start my training. When I checked my account, I noticed that the payment that had been made by Helen had been returned and I was now over my limit on the credit card. I contacted her about this and she asked for screenshots which I provided. She said that it would be paid off again but every time she paid it off, I would get the same message, that the payment was returned. We went back and forth for a while until this morning, I contacted her and told her I didn't have an update and the only change was when I saw the returned payment. Her response was "okay, hold on". I waited until around 4:00pm today and asked about an update but then I realized I couldn't see the previous messages between Helen and I. When I questioned her about the messages, she read the message but then my message was deleted and I realized that she blocked me. That's how I realized I was scammed. I have some proof but it includes my name, emails, and bank account information
