I saw the listings on Craig's List advertising puppies. There was an instagram in the listing @NY_FRENCHTON which the listing said to look at for pictures of the available pups. I DM'ed the account to inquire about the puppies, and a woman named Sierra Stevenson responded. She told me the puppy I was interested in was available, that she would be ready for pickup October 2nd, total price $900 and required a deposit of $300. She said the pup came with vet papers. She told me to send her $300 via Facebook pay (her facebook is Sierra Stevenson, she's from Brooklyn, NY), but the payment wouldn't go through. I got a pop-up to say my payment wouldn't go through due to "unusual activity." She then gave me her number and asked that I pay her with Apple Pay. I did. Once I paid her she said she would send me a receipt, but never did. I sent multiple messages and called (she picked up and then hung up quickly). I asked for a copy of the receipt, the vet papers, and to see a video of the puppies (because at this point I doubted there even were any puppies). I received no response from her facebook, or texting.
