This individual, Daniel Farr, stated he was from a law firm, Oakdale and Associates in Los Angeles, Ca. He said I owed from a repo of a car I had over 20 years ago. He said the pay owed was $12,001, and if I settled at $7,983, I wouldn’t go to court. So I freaked out and settled by paying with a credit card. After that I Googled them, and nothing showed up, then called back and was a fake number. They emailed me a confirmation letter that looked professional, but was made up. I’ve called my bank and they can’t dispute due to the fact that I willingly gave my credit card and not fraud. I was scammed, and really need my money back!!!
