I believe this is a coordinated effort from India who is involved in the previous reported scams from breeder to shipper. A Travis Wayne who is listed in FB as a moderator of a mini schnauzer rehoming group was the Seller. Red flags started up after the contract and fee. Additional fees such as shots that were represented as already done came up. Additional fees for the medical records were attempted but I declined to pay. I thought it was over at that point as I was told they couldn't ship the animal without it.

Next day, I get a notice from "Travis" saying the shipping company will confirm address. I thought they couldn't ship without the medical records. Hmmmm. Ocean route logistics called from the listed phone number and emailed as well. They then came back with a last minute "issue". Same as previous reports, magically they couldn't ship as is because of the weather and the notice from the animal agency. They were requesting $2,500 for an air conditioned pet carrier or at least renting one for $1,800. Interestingly enough, their form email (which was not that good really) indicated that they needed the air conditioned carriers as the various states they would be traveling through would require this type of care. Fair enough - except that we are only talking 5 hours drive across Texas - in my backyard basically. Of course I said No. Then I told "Travis" that I had informed the authorities. Of course he got angry and yelled at me - which is what I've experienced when I call out scammers for who they are.

The Breeder just dropped the dog with this shipper without consulting me first. I did not agree with this shipper and dont feel im obligated to them. Ater she dropped her off, all of a sudden i needed to rent an air-conditioned crate for her to be shipped in. They didnt mention any other charges at that point. I paid for the crate with Zelle. I assumed she was ready to ship. All of a sudden they said i needed to pay an additional $1850. For immunizations and a city permit. They settled for $1000 on this one $800 from me and $200 from the Breeder which i dont believe she paid her part. So again, i assumed she would be on her way. Then a little while later they came back and asked for $600 more for insurance. Well at this point, im tapped out. I told them many many more money as my bank account was empty. Since then ive gotten many threatening emails telling me im going to be charged with a texas penal code and fined big dollars if i didnt comply. I was also charged $900 from the breeder which i made payments via a gift card and Zelle. The breeders name is Moria Gough.

I purchased a puppy. The breeder took care of the shipping. He used Ocean Route Logistics. During transit, they emailed me claiming I needed a air conditioned crate for the puppy and it was totally refundable. They refused to deliver the puppy unless I got a crate. So I rented a air conditioned crate. Then emailed me stating I didnt have insurance. Refused to deliver without purchasing it and it was refundable as well upon delivery of the puppy. So I purchased insurance in case something happened. Thought that made sense. Then they emailed me and said I needed a heated crate and refused to deliver the puppy unless I sent the money. So, I sent the money for a heated crate which I was told it was refundable as well upon delivery of the puppy. So I sent the money. Then I get a email stating the puppy reached a certain age and needed a shot. They said the shot made the puppy sick and it would need more shots and demanded more money and refused to ship the puppy. I didnt send any money, told them to send the puppy back. With that said, I didnt receive the puppy and still trying to get all the money back I was told that was refundable.
