I found this business through google maps. I called using the call link on google maps. Spoke to someone and was told that someone else would call me to set up an appointment. I received multiple calls to set up an appointment. After the initial call, after I informed them that appointment was already scheduled, I was told that there was probably a miscommunication on their end. Ultimately a representative from a different company showed up. We agreed on a price and the representative wrote up a contract, typed in my email and was emailing it to me. I left the house and while I was gone someone else showed up at my house. They left a phone number, and when I called them the person had no idea what had happened. I made several more calls to the numbers that had called me earlier in the day, and was unable to get any cooperation or helpful information. Supposedly one of the calls was from the business owner, and he could care less that this happened although it was his business that I called originally. This morning I called the same number that I called originally (for Top Cooling and Heating), and the individual that I talked to hang up on me. I called again and was told that the owner would call me back. That has not happened. As of today I have still not received a contract. I should add that I paid the representative $150 deposit. I was able to track that individual’s phone number and spoke to him earlier today. Once again I was told that the contract would be sent to me, via text this time. Through some further research I believe that the individual that was actually in my home possibly works for California Green Roofing. I still don’t understand what transpired, but I am very concerned that I had someone in my house that I did not reach out to. For these reasons I believe that some sort of scam is taking place and am requesting further investigation by the BBB. Thank you.
