Type of a scam Online Purchase
The extent and sophistication of the fraud is so extreme that the scammers are also posting fraudulent VIN numbers with the scam postings,something that I am sure the DMV would be interested in knowing.The ever changing scam listings are also shared with multiple sellers all using the same seller contact phone number . There are approximately 10 scam listings with duplicate scam postings on the RV website of OFFER UP , but have recently seen an increase in the last few days .AGAIN ,OFFER UP is not taking any accountability ,or liability regarding the blatant , and documented fraudulent activity on their website.
If I didn't know better I would be crazy to think they were in on it , based on their apathetic and non reassuring lip service they provide. AGAIN, nothing to take away to assure the buyer that their business model was one which protected the online buyer from fraudulent activity .
Bottomline there are numerous reports currently filed against OFFER UP that reflect the ongoing negligence practiced by OFFER UP ,which does not provide any customer issue resolution through a BUYER PROTECTION POLICY that focuses and protects the online consumer ,in conjunction with urgently addressing the current scams, and fraudulent OFFER UP & ebay invoices /documents that are currently being counterfeited.
Note the attachment,is the counterfeit invoice that used the ebay motors site for a multiple listing , OFFER UP invoice is an EMF file not supported on this site. additional invoices can be provided.Note, all the scam multi sellers all have the same provider as @comcast.com & same text number depending on which multi posting you respond to.
The TIME for OFFER UP ...is UP....an URGENT INVESTIGATION into OFFER UP regarding their non existent BUYER PROTECTION POLICY by the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION. is overdue.
