Purchased a Ps5 from a profile Catee on Offerup.com. She and I messaged each other several times before purchase was made, negotiating terms of payment, etc. She was going to send me tracking number as soon as it shipped and picture of original receipt. She seemed totally trustworthy and very kind. I wanted to buy my son a Ps5 for Christmas. Once I paid for the product, I never heard from seller again. I messaged her several times, and texted to a phone number I had for her. Needless to say, Ps5 never arrived and because I have a UPS account, I was able to see that there were no packages on it's way. After I contacted OfferUp, her profile remained up and Ps5 was still showing for sale. How many others were scammed? After several unanswered messages and reporting to OfferUp, I have reported to Consumer Protection Agency, as well as State Attorney General's office. I don't want other to get scammed on this website like I was scammed. Buyer beware.
