Went for an advertized Inductivv bone conduction headphone, for $75 for two headphones. The pieces sent were by duet, and with behind ear headphones which are much cheaper. On trying to contact customer service, the number provides no meaningful response. Got to a person who dropped the call within 10s, and cannot even connect in other attempts.

I do not yet know if my credit card info has been compromised. I ordered the product on July 16,2024 and received it yesterday, July 23, 2024. I ordered product brand Inductivv and recieved Duet. I called and was told that the products were the same, just a different name. I explained that was like ordering a Ralph Lauren Polo and receiving something that looked like it. The customer service lady then told me that she was have to speak to someone and would call me back. The product was made in China, package was sent from NJ, judging by the lady’s accent, she was in China.

Inductivv headphones had an ad on Instagram. These were advertised in the ad and their website as bone conduction/induction headphones. I bought 2 pair because my spouse wanted a pair and they had a sale for buying 2 pair so i got one for myself. When we received them, the headphones were not as advertised. They were cheap, Chinese headphones that were just open ear headphones, no bone conduction. I tried emailing and contacting the customer service email and number and was never able to get ahold of anyone and i never heard back from them. All of this was while it was under their 30-day money back "guarantee" time frame. It was all BS. At that point, The pair i kept for myself couldn't hold a charge. Since then, the electronics randomly swelled up and the casing they were in split. Now i have to throw them out. Wasted $130 on this junk from China.

I searched for a bone conductive headphones. When searching online. I found a few websites that had good reviews on inductivv brand. When I received this product it was not a bone conductive headphones. When we reached out to get a refund. They gave us a load of crap and said that they would charge us shipping to return even though they have a 60 day return policy. We were only able to get $30.00 dollars back of the 60 we spent. This is a prime example of false advertising and a scam.

Counterfeit product. Not as advertised.

After seeing rave reviews for this product on CONSUMERTESTEDREVIEWS website, I ordered 1 pair of headphones. Upon receiving them, I see that the brand name Inductivv is nowhere on the product, or it's packaging. They look to be cheaply made. Plugging the unit in, the LED light took about 20 minutes to come on. It was flashing white. According to the instructions, it was supposed to be a green LED that turned white when fully charged. Mine never lit up green. 3+ hours later, still flashing white. Unit will NOT turn on. Overnight on the charger, the light had gone out, and the unit will STILL not turn on. I contacted Inductivv, but have yet to hear back. Their return policy states that I am required to pay for return shipping AND pay a 15% restocking fee. Not a chance.

The company seems to have created a false review site "Tried & Tested":

https://www.consumertestedreviews.org/best-bone-conduction-headphones/

that comes up as a top entry when using Google to search for "Bone Conduction Headphones". The site looks like a consumer comparison but their Inductivv product is rated the best with a 9.9 rating ("EXCEPTIONAL"), 5 stars, and is the only one with a Review Count (which you can't click to) for over 13K reviews. This site shows the list price as $119.99 with a "Limited Time Offer" of $59.99.

When you go to the site, they offer an even deeper discount to buy 2 or 3 of them so I almost did that for some friends, one of whom had suggested the leading bone conduction headphones brand (*****), which he has and had let me try out. His model was rated just behind Inductivv on this site and was over $100, so I decided to buy the Inductivv headphones on 3/1/23 ($69.99 including $9.95 shipping), which are advertised as shipping in 24-48 hours. As you can see at this tracking site:

https://track.firstmile.com/detail.php?n=**********************

they didn't actually reach the DHL distribution center to ship until 3/8/23. The package arrived at my house on 3/14/23, 2 weeks later.

When I opened the package, it was an entirely different product, looking like a very cheap product that was clearly labeled as made in China with no reference to Inductivv on the packaging. The product I received was called the "OPENEAR Duet" headphones, which also claim to be "bone conduction" and sell for $26.99. The shipping invoice said "1x Inductive Bone Induction Headphones" and was clearly marked as "Made in China" with Chinese characters on the front packaging. I didn't open the package but called their Customer Support number. They said that this was the only model that Inductivv sells and that there's a 30-day money-back guarantee, so I should try them out. I then looked online and realized that numerous people had fallen into the same false product sale at this site:

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/get-inductivv.com

They pointed out that they aren't even bone conduction headphones as they have a small speaker on them ("bone induction" doesn't even seem to be a thing) and when they tried to get a refund, the company wanted them to just keep the headphones and take a refund closer to $50 ("85%") rather than the $70 we'd all paid, because they knew that would be cheaper than sending it back since the shipping both ways would be nonrefundable. It's pretty clear that the Chinese headphones are worth <$20 (probably <$10), so they make $20 off any person that accepts this offer. The best anyone had done on that site in getting the "30 Days Guarantee" was 90%, so they were still taking a loss on crappy headphones. Sure enough they started by offering me a refund of $45, as in this email:

Their manual at that link has the Inductivv logo but shows the OPENEAR Duet headphones instead, to give the impression that it's the same product.

I wound up calling ******* *** and disputing the charge. They got on a 3-way call with the Inductivv Support rep and insisted that I get a full refund as I was prepared to mail the package back unopened. They eventually said not to send it back (I still have it as evidence) and that they would honor the full refund within a couple of days. That wound up taking several days, but I did get my full refund, unlike others who didn't think to involve their credit card company.

This company should be put out of business for selling a cheap product and false advertising about it being a different technology with clearly false ratings, along with making it challenging to get the actual full refund that they promise.

Receive the bone induction headset and there was no need to put them on head because you could hear the music that sounded like a 1974 transistor radio. I immediately contacted the company to request a refund. I informed the cs agent that this is not what I purchased and he says to me, they are the same product, but dofferent countries give them different names. The agent then asked me to verify my order and personal information. He said that my phone numbers did not match, therefore he could not refund my money. I am not sure what he thought I was gonna do. At any rate, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He return policy on the website says nothing about phone number verification. After 20 minutes of back and forth lies, a man by the name of Charles Douglas repeated the same excuse. Please by all means do not buy anything from these scammers. The mere unprofessionalism of customer service is the main indicator that this is a scam site. BEWARE!
Fake Phony Fraudulent

I found Inductivv through a tech review website for bone induction headphones. Upon seeing the deal offered through Inductivv on the headphones I decided to look into reviews, all of which were positive including for customer service. I purchased a pair for $63.94 and was offered an additional set for $39.99 of which I accepted to pay. The company claims to be a U.S. owned and operated business, but the following day I received a call from my bank saying my credit card had been frozen because these transactions went through China. I was able to contact Inductivv regarding this and they sent me a shipment and tracking link and said the financial vendor they use for transactions was based overseas and not to worry. For me, this verified my purchase and I accepted the initial transactions.

My product arrived on schedule, but when opened it had no Inductivv brand labels or anything anywhere on the box, product, or instructions. Not only that, but I was able to look up the exact product I received and it was available from other, more well known, vendors for $16. The products I ordered were manufactured and shipped from China to Inductivv, which then resells this inexpensive product at extremely inflated prices. The headphones are also not bone induction headphones that work by sending vibrations through the jawbones/cheekbones as the website claims verbatim. They are open headphones with the speaker openings aimed directly at the ear entrance cavity.

This is shady business at its finest. DO NOT BUY FROM INDUCTIVV.

I emailed the company my concerns and was met with this response:

"We apologize for the misunderstanding caused and would like to inform you that you have received the same product you ordered. Furthermore, our products do not have a logo. It is being looked into."

I ordered 2 pair of supposedly 100% American made headphones (they were made in China) from Inductivv (I was shipped OpenEAR Duet brand) that were supposedly bone conduction headphones where the music is played through your jaw/cheekbones to you inner ear (the speakers point towards your ear opening not into your bones) after 1 day of using/havingthem I charged the headphones and the pair I got for myself would no longer turn on or even charge again when I double checked. It took 3 days and 3 emails to get in contact with them and they only want to give back 75% of what is paid for the wrong, faulty product. I wasn't scammed out of any extra money but the purchase as a whole is basically a scam when 3 of their selling points are fraudulent.

Order came quick but the tracker never worked and got "OpenEar DUET" which have NONE of the sound quality...sadly I bought mine STRAIGHT from inductivv and still got ripped off.
Same as above

Product received was not what the website claimed - This website states they are selling "Inductivv" brand bone-conduction headphones, and offer them for a very good price, however it's a drop-shipping, or bait and switch, the item they send is not what they claim. First of all, the headphones are not "Inductivv" brand, but "Open Ear Duet", which on other websites, such as Amazon, in no way claim they are bone-conducting, and are sold at a fraction of what "Inductivv" charges.

After receiving them and trying them out, I found that they are basically very crappy, tiny speakers that sit above/in front of your ears, but can be heard by anyone in the vicinity, but they do look similar to the Shokz bone conducting headsets. I attempted to contact them several times, by email on 5/9/22 and by phone, both remain unanswered.

When I looked up their address, it comes back as belonging to “*** ******,” which is, among other things, a distribution/transportation company. I am more than happy to return them, but with the info that the company at the address they came from is not the same as the supposed company I purchased them from, I’m not completely sure they will reach the right people and that I will get a refund
