Absolute scam

They are conducting a job interview via telegram, trying to obtain your personal info, after all they are sending you a fake check to deposit, rescind it while it’s pending, and you pay your bank from your own money.

I just received an email a little while ago from a Christopher Laws using the company name of Office National Limited to try and scam me. I knew immediately the email was from a scammer because I’ve received plenty of job scam text messages and emails within the last few months; this email followed a lot of the same trends as the other text messages and emails I’ve received before. It came from a gmail email address rather than a company email address. They claimed to have reviewed my resume on Indeed, which should be impossible as it is set to private so no one but the employers I apply to should be able to view it. They referred to me as an applicant, which is also impossible because I’ve never applied to that company before. There are grammatical errors practically from start to finish in this email. There was use of all caps for some words and use of quotations and parentheses where they didn’t belong. They also told me that I’d already been set up for an interview and just needed to add Mr. John Davies’ Skype ID, the person they claimed is the Hiring Manager. But Christopher also said that they would be the one conducting the interview. It didn’t make sense to me that Christopher would be conducting it, but through John’s Skype ID instead of their own. And they sent a verification code that they said I’d need for the interview. They also listed about 11 different positions that are apparently open and seemingly stated that the pay is $35/hr for them all. That didn’t make sense to me either because there are so many different positions that they listed plus, if I had already applied, then they should have been contacting me back in regards to the specific position I would have applied for. All of this is how I knew instantly that this was someone’s attempt to scam me. I never responded back to them; I blocked them.
