CONSUMER BEWARE - JASON H CLARK, ESQUIRE IS MISREPRESENTING HIS LEGAL SERVICES.

For years, I've received annoying spam ad letters from this man and his "company" where he claims that there are open cases against the business I work for. I always ignored them, because I'd always have a corresponding claim coming in from the proper governmental entity. So I ignore and shred his ad letters. This time, however, I received another spam ad from him in the mail with a case number and a conference date listed with a specific governmental entity. I freaked out, because I hadn't received any official government correspondence. I tried like hell to find the case number, even going so far as to contact the proper entities to confirm whether or not there was an open case against the business. Guess what? There wasn't. I haven't had an open case against the business in over a year. But... Here's this lawyer claiming that I do, so it's gotta be true... Right? Why would a lawyer lie to me?

Guess again. I tried to contact him, and even HE couldn't tell me what the case was referencing or whether or not it was a legitimate claim. So I did some further digging. I wasn't going to leave a review, but this infuriated me to no end BECAUSE THIS MAN IS USING FEAR TACTICTS TO GET YOU TO SIGN UP FOR HIS SHODDY SERVICES.

Clark does not have a license to practice law in California, but issues his solicitations for hiring on letterhead describing AND PROMOTING himself as a licensed Attorney. Furthermore, Clark makes promises that he and his staff can handle "employee related Administrative Law cases" - this is false, as Clark is not licensed. At most, he can provide arbitration guidance and mediation representation, but the letter does not make this explicitly clear. As Clark does not appear to have any staff outside of himself, any claims made regarding his ability to represent California citizens or business in court are false, yet his letter concludes with saying his team can handle "employment related administrative law cases" in California. Hmm... Wonder why so many of his reviews come from out of state then... And yes, we did confirm via legitimate sources and websites that he does not have a license to practice what he claims he can practice in the state of California.

Also kind of weird that MOST of his five star reviews are hidden by Yelp, who is super strict about removing any reviews that may have been influenced by the business or paid for by the business. Like, an insanely high amount of reviews. That, in and of itself, is a red flag. So he's either paying off people to write good reviews, or he's promising services in exchange for a good review. Which is SO against YELP's TOS because of how easily businesses can manipulate their rating.
