There was a limited time offer to run a node thru STORX.io. One of the requirements was to get a dedicated IP address to run the node. The company providing the IP was not responding fast enough so I reached out to STORX thru the social media website Telegram to determine what I could do to make sure i was 'locked in' & not miss out on the opportunity. Another requirement was to have 1000 SRX crypto saved on XINPAY but I wasn't able to get to the next step. Again, I reached via social media for help from XINPAY and that's when i was contacted by the thief. I assumed he was either part of the STORX or XINPAY team but he was not. He told me that I needed more XDC crypto in the wallet in order to get it going and sent me a link to use to 'get my wallet connected properly'. unfortunately for me, that's how he got access to my crypto and promptly wiped it all out. He stole 10,000 xdc and 1050 SRX which amounts to approximately $2500 usd. not only was I robbed but as a result I also, missed out on the opportunity for passive income by running the node.

the XINFIN telegram group was able to see the wallet address where it went but were unable to recover it for me
