I was contacted via text that my resume was viewed by the HR dept. and that the company was interested in interviewing me for an opening. I responded and received instructions to contact a Steve Martians via google chat messenger to go thru an interview. I made contact we chatted and he asked a few questions and i was offered employment with the company. I then was advised i will go thru a 2 week training and be able to work from home until a local office is opened. I started training by writing a lot of papers on various subjects.

I was told a check would be sent to me for the purchase of a computer and software that will be needed for work.

I began to question this job offer but was assured it was a legit offer. I finally did receive a check from someone in TN and a letter from someone in CT. drawn off a bank in MA off of an account for an Attorney's office.

I call the bank to verify funds. Funds could not be verified. RED FLAG!!

I called the law firm, Attorney and receptionist confirmed the check drawn off of there back and there account was a fake and not to cash or deposit it. RED FLAG!!
