I called a garage door repair company to fix our garage door from what looked like a legitimate website.https://www.olympusgaragedoorrepair.com. The tech showed up and said he could fix the door for $1,300 with new springs. Afterthe install, which lasted an hour, he said it was $1,300 per spring and added a $150 charge for a warranty on the two cables. Withtax, it came to $2,970 and he said it would be $2,900 if paid in cash since he did not accept a personal check. I did not think wehad a choice and was very concerned for our safety as the contractor was adamant about paying and was in my garage. I paid him in cash and asked where his business was located and if I could get warranty documents. He said they do not have a business location as they are a mobile unit. I only received an invoice by email but no company contact information was given except for the contractors email and phone number. This looks like a fraudulent company and I want to both report this to shut it down so others do not lose money and try to obtain my money back. I have since called the main number of the company to ask for proof of insurance and have not been provided that either. They keep saying they are a mobile service and do not have a company address. The phone number for the individual who came to my house is 585-536-1585

Checked for repair of garage door through a google search. Olympus garage door repair responded and sent a repairman within two hours. Repairman claimed 250.00 service call for labor and 250.00 for parts to repair broken coils. Repaired with parts that were three times as expensive and said he’d discount 25%. In the end tried to change 100.00 to lubricate the coils, I refused. Tried to upgrade all services, more expensive parts etc. Promised me a lifetime warranty in writing that was never received. Ignores all my attempts to get an itemized receipts. Do not pay scammers with cash apps. I paid through zelle. Afterwards saw this scammer company has various aliases, scammer burn phones, no identifying billing with their name or address on it. NO work truck with the company name one it. Bait and switch tactics. Pushy selling pressure sales.
