Ad appeared on instagram for a maternity shop that is well known, i clicked on the link and unbeknownst to me was taken to an alternative site, omasize. i placed my order with them and then realized the name of the site was different. i googled the site and saw that there were less than trustworthy according to google reviews. This was on 03/12/2024. i waited to receive shipping information as they claim to use UPS and DHL as carriers. instead, i received tracking information from track718. track718 is listed in google as, "Track718.com is a fraudulent tracking service that works with affiliate scam websites to trick customers and prevent refunds for undelivered orders through fabricated tracking updates. Shoppers should be wary of sites utilizing Track718.com or other dubious shipping trackers." i contacted the customer service email to ask where the package was in transit on 04/02/24, since they listed the product as (2-5 days delivery). All they did is provide me a link to the track718 site. That proved to be accurate. At 6am on 04/15 i checked the tracking information and saw it was listed as "delivered" at 11:30. Clearly this was a red flag that the product was in fact never going to be delivered. i emailed them immediately to bring to their attention that the package was not delivered and could not have been according to the site because it was not yet 11:30 on 4/15. They asked me to look into the package and said they would need to file a claim to cover the cost of the order if the package was lost or stolen in transit. i responded and let them know that no on had the package and i was confident it was never actually sent given the scam tracking site and information listed. They responded claiming to have contacted the courier and that they denied financial compensation because the package was listed as "delivered". Now when i look up my order information the page has been disabled or "not found". They are unwilling to refund my purchase price of $50.49. I am OK with the loss, but i think someone needs to look into this company.
