I spoke with a gentleman named Filipe Sanchez and I couldn't really understand his heavy accent... but after only a 10 min. conversation, he offered me the job. I tried to ask questions about the role and he simply stated that I can find out more from the job offer letter, but he would not take time to address the job - he just kept saying congratulations. This was a red flag to me.
Yesterday, I tried to contact Irene, but I soon noticed how difficult it was to locate a phone number for the company. There was nothing in her signature until I located her very first email to me. I called the number listed there, which turned out to be a google number that leads back to Filipe from the phone call on the previous day. I hung up the call - he called me hours later asking if I was going to sign the job offer letter. I told him not until he gave me details about the job. I asked about the shared google number for a legitimate company. This was alarming. I also told him that I would not trust them with my SSN and bank account number because they seemed suspicious.
I am nervous because I filled out their job application before this and they have my home address, email and cell number. I find it very strange that they function with ONE google number. I addressed my concerns with Filipe because he is the only one with a number and he tried to pressure me to take the job. I am contacting you all to inform you to investigate in this company to see what is going on. I am not comfortable with them. I told him that I cannot send my social to them for the job (tax purposes) because they do not seem legit to me and Filipe stated that I wouldn't have to send them my SSN for taxes because I can send it to a 3rd party individual to handle my taxes on their behalf. This is absolutely unacceptable. The company's website is listed as: https://www.omnipresent.com/. I have the application that they asked me to complete and sent to them on 01/17/2023, along with the job offer letter I received yesterday 01/18/2023, which I can provide to you, upon request.
