My computer put out a blue background and a "microsoft" support "flag" saying that I needed to contact Microsoft tech support immediately as my computer was being compromised. I call the number as I couldn't do anything on my computer and was told I needed to go through the questions and that I had 624 virus on my computer at this time. I also needed to pay them $140 for the new spyware and technical support needed to correct my computer. Unfortunately I did. My check has not been cashed as yet and tomorrow AM I will contact the bank to stop my check. I heard about this on Channel 3 this evening and am very upset with myself.
