I received a message on my work computer while trying to log in to my email that my personal email had a virus to call the number so I did. I then was instructed to sign on to my bank account on my business computer then told to put certain numbers into the computer to get rid of the virus which I did. Then given a call from a so called bank fraud dept rep who was asking me about my accounts so he can secure them with FDIC insurance. Asked for any other bank or accounts that i want to secure because the people have all of my personal information including on my phone and they can track my action my iPhone do I was not to discuss this with anyone. Then I was given the name and number from social security fraud dept who then sent me a letter of what to do and what not to do via text message. I was to read the whole letter to them both, the “bank rep” and “ social security officer”Then I was instructed to go to the bank keeping them in the phone to put $15000 in a digital account to protect it. They would fix my bank account then put the digital account money back into my account. They know my date of birth and have my personal info of what’s on my bank account. I then had caught on and talked to the bank people and secured my accounts.
