I received an email that looked to be from Shell (which I use the shell app to purchase gas at the pump) offering me a free watch. I thought she’ll was making this offer so I proceeded to order my free watch online. After ordering I thought I’d better read the fine print and saw that I had purchased a watch not from shell but from a company called ship now pay later and I was going to be charged 96 dollars US after receiving my watch. I immediately found a number for the company and called them to cancel the order (this was done within minutes of ordering it). I was told that the order was already shipped and if I wanted to return it I could call back after and get an rma# to make the return. I received my watch (a very cheap watch worth about 5 dollars) and I proceeded to call the company to get my rma# to return this watch. The guy on the phone tried to coerce me into paying half and I could keep the watch and I said I wanted a refund so he reluctantly gave me an rma# and I followed all the instructions and returned the watch that day. I was charged the 96US dollars, by the way, immediately after placing the order before I had even received the watch. To date I have not received a refund from this company and I have called twice and spoken to someone who assured me my refund was coming. The last conversation I had the lady told me my refund was coming to my bank account……they don’t have my bank account information (which I told her) since I purchased it by credit card and she assured me it was coming to my bank and hung up. This company is a complete scam and I warn people to be aware.
