I google for a munchkin cat to purchase as an early sweetfifteen gift for my 14 yr old daughter who has anxiety attacks after pandemic. I found this munchkinisland website reviews looked pretty convincing lady was very attentive and straight foward with answers she was in contact all the time until she " left" the kitten at the company named pet go shipping and from there it just kept going from bad to worst by the minute. They had me go to JFK airport then La Guardia airport to tell me on a text there was a delay they will deliver the kitten to my house with the insurance money in cash that the Control USDA Unit Insurance had requested. It just a long story started on October 12 2024 until today October 17 2024 at 5:02 pm that the kitten is ill situation is very bad to inform seller who has not answer back for a few days and removes page one day or two and then brings it back. Please help.

Joined a Facebook group called oriental shorthair kittens run by a profile by the name of Micheal George and previously under the name Rash Ann. DM’d for info on a kitty and ended up sending $300 deposit to hold with plans to drive to GA to adopt and pay the balance of $400 in cash as requested. He began messaging me stating that he must neuter the kitty first and would need $198 sent immediately for the surgery. Told him I have a vet and will pay my vet for the surgery. He kept pushing. I told him I would not send any money. I asked him to refund my deposit and he said he has no money. Mysteriously, the Facebook group has now disappeared. My loss but warning to others- SCAM!

I found a breeder for munchkin cats on google looked them up on the international cat association and figured they were legit i spoke to the woman Katarina mulitple times over phone email and texts she sent me contracts to sign and to confirm my payment of $350 deposit and then I sent the remaining balance of $570 wen she was setting up for him to be shipping to me. The shipping company that goes by go shipping asked me to pay a refundable insurance fee for the cat to get on the plane i paid it and the tracking number and flight info were sent to me the kitten was supposedly in route 7 am feb 11th. it was a connecting flight from key west to atlanta thn from there to new york. When the cat was in atlanta the shipping company called me saying i needed to pay $700 for the rabies tag not being with the documents and ever since i have been getting the run around when simply asking for the air billing number or the flight number or the airline

After sending 750 dollars to a Fake website to purchase a kitten, I began receiving URGENT emails from [email protected] requesting 1599 dollars for a thermal regulated shipping container for the kitten to be sent as per the regulation requirements of the Pet Quarantine and Pet Abandonment Department.

I tried to purchase a cat online through their website.

First they make you think you're accepted for adopting a cat. They as you personal questions about home location and family.

They only respond email, no phones, no video calls.

They only take Venmo or zelle.

They send you a fake contract.

The pet never arrives.

Mathis same web format is cut and pasted to several different site, using exact words for different animals. There no traceable info or details as to locations. They sell pure Breed cats worth $3000 for only $650. Huge red flag. Cut and paste any part of their website into Google and see that the same scam is run across several web pages.

The scammer said they were selling a kitten. They charged my friend the price of the kitten $400 and said it was on the way. My friend provided them with the money and their address to complete the transaction. Then they made up a scam that the “shipping” company needed another 400 for insurance. It was fake. We asked for pictures for proof and they kept sending stolen pictures. We noticed they were taken from an online shelter ad for a actual cat available for adoption. There was no kitten and when we asked to cancel the transaction they ignored it and stopped communicating. Found them mentioned as frauds by other customers online right after. They also had a picture of a review on their website which upon further review was a picture of Chris hemsworth. Everything on their website is fake and no kittens ever existed.
