They lure people in wuth Consolidated credit loans, payday loans, get you to sign up, then they take your money every week without providing any service. They are unreachable by email and phone, and wont allow you to cancel.

Offered me a loan needed security funds, I received a number of e-transfers and sent them on as instructed, and loan never materialized even though the paperwork looked legitimate,

The scammer first contacted me via email saying I had been fully approved for a $20,000 loan and asked me to call or email them to discuss with a customer representative named Lynda Alexander. I called the number and the person on the line asked for my full name, street address, and date of birth. The person said that there are two options that customers have to take in order to finalize their application: 1) Get a co-signer, and the customer representative would contact them to fill out their portion of the application or; 2) Pay for "loan protection insurance", which would be a one-time fee of $980, and would be gradually reimbursed throughout the loan term. The representative said that for a loan of $20,000, monthly payments would be around $250 and that the annual interest rate was 10%. When I asked the representative to email me the terms in writing (as this was suspicious), they assured me that they would, but I never heard back from them.

They approached with an email offer for $20,000 as a loan but requiring a deposit of $1427. Once payment was email transferred, within 2 hours, we would have the money. Address on their website is different than the email they sent. Seems to be a virtual office at a physical building. Many businesses registered to the same suite. Website shows an address of 1959 Upper Water Street, suite 1301, halifax, NS. There are multiple "lending" companies showing that address online. "Rep"'s phone number is based out of Toronto, ON.

Offered a 20,000 dollar loan over 120 months at payments of $232.22 a month. Had to send a one time payment of $1427 to cover security insurance, with no option to include that payment within the loan. Claimed it is refundable after 6 months. Did not do any sort of background check or ask for proof of employment or pay stubs.

They wanted mr to send them 1174 for liability insurance or property information

claiming to be able to lend me 20K, submitted my information and received a notification i was approved however the following email was sent:

Your terms as follow 20k

20k 7% 120months to payback at monthly payments of $232.22. This also open loan so you pay off whenever you like

We were able to get your loan approved, however we were only able to get you approved on a secured basis only so, in order for you to get the loan you were given three options to secure the loan. Your (1st) option it’s a collateral option which means it could be house property or vehicle (2nd) option get someone to cosign for you, 3rd option purchase a security liability insurance, depending on the option you choose we could get the loan out for you as early as today

If you’re looking to go with the 3rd option the insurance company normally charge between 8 to 10% prior to the loan amount, but in your case it’s a one time payment of $1427 mainly because they see where are you more financially stable, this $1427 Security insurance protects you against defaults sickness or family issue and it does get refunded after the first 6 months as long as your accounts remain in good standing,Once your security liability insurance is paid and it’s been verified the loan would release within 45 minutes to an hour direct deposit

Your co-signer must be making minimum 70k per year and have a credit score of 700 upwards, please have your co-signer send us over copy of drivers license and a pay stub

We accept your vehicle only if it’s 2020 upwards fully paid off in your name and worth the loan amount or greater, if so please send us over a copy of vehicle title and also a copy of your drivers license back and front so we could get started with the process

did not pursue an attempt to secure the loan with my home or vehicle information, option 3 as stated requesting a amount of $1427 up front, and the additional language used to suggest this was idea; (ie reinforcing the speed in which this option will get me my loan) appears fraudulent

My name is ***** ******** I had applied for a loan through this company magic money lending I got approved then they said I needed to send them one thousand six hundred dollars as assurity as my credit is poor.I e-transfer then 1600 then they said I needed another 1600. I refused to do that it has been a month they won't take my calls and won't return the money.

they said it was insurance to get a loan but they kept raising the amount for the insurance first it 2400 then it was another 800 and then it was another 2400 the they wanted another 1200 so finally my parents demanded a refund

They continuously kept hiking up the insurance cost of a big loan after telling me they couldn't give me a 10k loan and it had to be 20k. To which I agreed with, but they kept requesting I pay a sum of money to release the funds and never did release anything to me after a few days

I applied for a loan with Surecash Finanacial I was approved and signed a contract. I sent $800 for security funds to [email protected] ($100.00) & [email protected] for ($700.00). I talked to two individuals on the phone (782) 823-5740 & (705) 230-1120. The rest of my contact with them was by e-mail to [email protected]. Promised that loan would be deposited but never was.

They guarantee your approved, looked over your info and underwriting has everything ready to go. Have funds in 1-2 hrs, you must pay the insurance first to receive the funds. Very convincing and all paperwork looks legit.

I’ve been trying to get a loan to pay tuitions. I saw an email from a site I didn’t apply to telling me I got approved for 20k and I should contact Steve Milton at 902-600-6429 or [email protected]. I reached out via email and they gave me 3 options and I must choose on in order to get the loan. Option 1: it’s a collateral option, house, property or vehicle. Option 2 was a co-signer who had to be making 70k/ year and have a credit score of 700 upwards. Option 3: purchase a security liability insurance $1147 this protects you against defaults sickness or family issue. It gets refunded after the first 6 months as long as your accounts remain in good standing. Once your security liability insurance is paid and it’s been verified the loan would be released within 45 mins to an hour direct deposit. I told them I don’t agree with any of the options and if there are other options and they said those are the only ones. I haven’t been in contact with them since.

I got an email saying I was approved for $20,000 and here were the terms. attached. And after doing some research I saw advance fee loans were illegal. And found similar stories in Ontario
