They asked for one of my friends to send them money through cash app with the promise of getting what they ordered. No bank information or social security numbers were exposed to scammers.

I live in a state where recreational Marijuana is legal. So I put an order into this "new, highly rated" delivery dispensary. Paid them the $50 after sketchily waiting for over 2 hours for a response. Then as the driver is on the way they inform me of a special "fee" I have to pay. But it's 100% refundable. A $300 fee!! To basically "insure" the goods.. it's legal, what insurance does one need to transport it? Seems sketchy and don't fall for it like I did. They're either a fake company or an illegally ran one. I asked for a refund several times to no avail yet.
