I was referred to this business by a friend, and we communicated via WhatsApp. I called the number and the person informed me how to make the payment in order to do an exam to obtain a security license. After the payment went through, the person I spoke with told me that the e-transfer had not been received yet, and that I should call them in an hour. I called them an hour later, and the person then told me to send my name, address and postal code, and email to her, and to follow an Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/canadian_security_force/). The comments are disabled on this page, and when I followed the page I was contacted by another scammer who I initially believed to be the first person I spoke with, but was seemingly unrelated to the first person (their phone number is 201-597-2005, they tried to take my information for a fake job that was too good to be true). After following the steps, the person did not instruct me on how to proceed. Over the course of a few days, I texted this same person twice and called six times, each time I called the call was immediately declined. Suspecting I had been scammed, I informed my friend who referred me to this business, and they began to speak with the business, but this time the business immediately responded to my friend while not responding to me for days on end. Then the same person from the business who I contacted told me that she can not refund the money because she already sent the materials, but I told her that she absolutely did not. A few days later, she tried to explain to me that it was not a scam and that she sent the materials again, and asked me to screenshot my email to show I had not received anything from them, which I did, and that I just want my money back. Afterwards, she asked me if I was available to do CPR training on October 1st, my response was to ask of the location, and she told me the location (Unit 5B, 2950 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON M1W 3G5) and told me that she already booked me and that if I wanted to reschedule or decline, I would be charged $25. I asked why would you book me if I never agreed, and she did not answer that question and kept referring to the materials she allegedly sent, which I still never got. Furthermore, I called my bank (TD Canada Trust) regarding this, and they told me that when they looked at the e-transfer I sent them, they said the business initially blocked it, and then accepted it later, even though they have auto-deposit. Another person from the business then called me and tried to assure me it was not a scam, and that they are registered with the government, however it is hard to even find them on Google. I asked for my money back if I did not receive anything, and they told me that they don't do refunds. This person called from a phone number 416-833-1197.
