Buying a twin bed on Facebook Marketplace. I said it was for an adult and arranged for a bed that was delivered, and was given a price that included shipping. At the door, we were told that we had to pay $45 for shipping. Also, when we opened up the box, the bed only had 4 small wooded pieces across to hold the mattress. Not strong enough for an adult. The agent promised it would be replaced but tonight left the conversation.

I have screen shots of the whole conversation and the receipt showing the extra charge.

The director of this company is listed on many companies. As well, on Facebook Marketplace there are 20 or so other sellers, some of identical goods. Other buyers have said there are issues. It is a click bait because they advertise a new bed for a small $ which is actually the delivery charge.

We knew it was sketchy but these kind of companies re usually ok for cheaper products like a twin bed and I know it wouldn’t be amazing, but this won’t likely hold an adult’s weight and so is dangerous.
