The scheme involved Kevin inviting me to his private group, where he claimed to be selling supplements. He then asked me to make an e-transfer of $408.65 to his email address (Stephan JOHANSON) [email protected]. The next day, I received another email instructing me to pay an additional $250 for "insurance" on my shipment.
The email, sent from [email protected], claimed that the package was registered but required insurance payment before shipping could commence. The email also provided a tracking number (*********************) and directed me to pay the $250 insurance deposit.
However, upon further investigation, I realized this was a scam. I refused to make any further payments.
To summarize:
* I made an e-transfer of $408.65 to [email protected].
* I received another email instructing me to pay $250 for "insurance" on my shipment.
* The email was sent from [email protected] and claimed the package was registered but required insurance payment before shipping could commence.
