The scammer said it was 200 to reserve a mini toy poodle and asked to zelled to Carmen 719-493-8403 on 5/27/24. I received a document of "transfer of ownership" from Lilly ***** and Roderic ***** with the puppy information along with mine. Once it was zelled I asked multiple times to video chat with the puppy and excuses were made. I sent another Zelle for the payment for the puppy and delivery fee of $710 on 7138757723. Delivery of the puppy was suppose to be 6/9/24 by 4pm. The day before they asked for payment for puppy vaccination, food and handle so i Apple paid $190 to +1 (713) 325-4858. On the delivery day, the "quick drop logistic" delivery company called on +1 (305) 396-1059 (google voice subscriber) to tell me there's a fee of $250 for rental crates for the puppy to be delivered safe, that is refundable ASAP upon delivery of the pup. It was sent to phone number +1 (281) 628-0932 via Apple Pay. Then pet insurance was needed, they asked for $385, was sent to the same number via Apple Pay. Then another call by the delivery company stated that there was a $100 certificate of approval from Polk city, to be able to pass thru and delivery the pup. At this point it was suspicious I did send the Apple Pay for $100 however I canceled it. The delivery company stated they had dropped the pup at a doggy day care which they were inconsistent with the name, first it was Barking lot and then rover. I googled both, barking lot was closed at that time and rover is a dog sitting website. The address provided looked like a random house on google maps, and when asked to provide the phone number for the doggy daycare to pick up the pup, the owner of the breeding company immediately went on defense mode and saying that I should know I authorized the delivery company to drop them off. The owner then wanted to say there is an emergency $450 delivery fee guaranteed for the pup to be delivered. I was scammed and I told them that I was. I have all the messages, phone logs of interaction with this so called breeder/ delivery company. Now the "owner" wants to threaten me with a lawsuit if anything happens to the imaginary puppy that was dropped off at a random doggy daycare. This is the address that the delivery company provided 5350 Mount Olive Rd, Polk City, FL 33868. Please advise on what I need to do and have this scammer be stopped.
