This app is a meal plan subscription service. This app developer charges a $9 CAD initial fee for a few day "trial." I cancelled the trial the same day, in April of 2024. Two months have passed, and on June 17, 2024 I was randomly charged $112.84 CAD on my visa debit. I have looked at online reviews, and this has happened to multiple people, and the charges seem to be ARBITRARY, as in they are taking randomised & UNAUTHORIZED amounts of money out of banking accounts. The app service provides a meal plan. I have checked again, and NOW, nowhere do they give you the option to cancel the subscription – on the app, or through your Apple ID subscriptions settings. Which I double checked, and confirmed that I do not have a subscription connected to the app. All my other subscriptions are listed. Their only form of contact is via email, and they are extremely slow to respond. I contacted them about a refund as I never authorized these payments and they are not well-defined. Their response was that they just now cancelled my subscription (not true, I did so the same day I purchased the trial) and they showed me a refund policy that is extremely arbitrary, misleading, and poorly defined. The standards they have set for the refund policy are nearly impossible to meet. This is verbatim what the refund policy stated in their email:

1.Contact us via email at [email protected] within 14 days of your initial purchase.

2.Clearly state the reasons why you are dissatisfied with the plan.

3.Provide evidence that you adhered to the instructions provided in our plans for at least 7 consecutive days, which can be demonstrated through current weight updates and meals prepared daily.

Once we receive this information, our Customer Service Team will review your request within 1 to 3 business days and provide you with a final decision. If your request meets the criteria outlined in our refund policy, we will proceed with the refund process.

Note that the charges they made to my account were conveniently beyond the 14 days they allow for a refund. This is a scam and they use social media to target their victims (I saw their advertisement on instagram).
